Here are some frequently asked questions that people have about the Billings Escape Room:

How are you addressing COVID-19?

  • Each room is sanitized between games.
  • “Private” game options are temporarily free to prevent strangers from joining your game.
  • Handwashing is encouraged before and after your game.
  • Disposable gloves are available for purchase.
  • We encourage anyone who is experiencing flu-like symptoms to stay home and we reserve the right to turn away players who may be a risk to others.

What is an escape room?
At the Billings Escape Room, we’ll put you in the middle of an adventure. Sometimes you have to escape before time run out. Other times you might need to accomplish a set of goals. Consequently, this may require some problem solving or overcoming physical challenges. All the answers and tools that you’ll need are found inside the game, so you don’t need to be an expert to have a great time.

How many people can play?
Each room is set up differently, but generally they accommodate 4 to 10 players. Larger groups can be accommodated, so please contact us for more details.

Will my room be private?
Anyone can join your game as long as there are empty spaces. To make the room private you’ll need to reserve all the available spaces (click the Private option while booking online).

How old should players be?
Groups with children age 13 and under need to also have an adult in the group. Recommended for ages 13 and up.

When should we arrive?
You should arrive 15 minutes early for pre-game instruction and preparation.

What if we’re late?
You can still play, but since the game will still end at the normally scheduled time your playing time may be shorter.

Are there any health restrictions?
Some rooms may feature poor lighting and flashing lights. You might be required to do some minimal crawling.

What safety precautions are in place?
Each game is monitored by our employees using a video recording system.

Do you offer refunds?
In most cases refunds (full or partial) are not available unless we are notified at least 48 hours in advance. Feel free to contact us if you have extenuating circumstances.
